Tracey Carter
ADHD Coach
ABOUT TRACEY
In 2014 an ADHD diagnosis became a turning point in Tracey’s life, freeing her from the shame of wondering “What’s wrong with me?”, to gaining a new sense of self understanding and acceptance, along with finding tools, resources, and HOPE!
It is Tracey’s passion to help others who struggle with their ADHD symptoms to find new ways of working with their brain instead of against it, to identify and celebrate their strengths, and to see themselves as the precious, mistake making, worthwhile individuals they truly are.
Tracey has a diverse professional background, having spent time as a Volleyball Coach, a Caregiver for people with disabilities, a Restaurant Server turned Restaurant Manager, an HR Director, as well as a Talent Acquisition Consultant for several franchise brands across the US. She has led coaching conversations/group exercises for leadership development and team building since 2018.
She has found success and meaning in her work because of her genuine desire to serve others with a focused presence and care for people as individuals. She does this through a deep sense of curiosity and drive to learn, a keen intuition for identifying underlying issues, a talent for organizing and creating systems that work, and an ability to communicate and teach abstract concepts. People that have worked with Tracey have said she brings a calm presence and gentle honesty to every meeting.
As an ASN ADHD Coach Intern, Tracey can personally relate to clients who desire to create positive change in their lives while they are actively working through chronic pain or illness, recovery from abuse, loss, or grief.
